Why believe in the Lord? The other day I had the chance to spend sometime with a man who said he did not believe in heaven or hell. He stated that when he dies all he is will wink out and, since that is the case he saw no reason to believe in God or Jesus or concepts like heaven or hell. To be honest his openness on the issue startled and intrigued me. I was moved to ask him several questions and to my surprise make a statement that went something like this. |
